Dear Winter, You're an A**hole. March Give-Away Winner Announce. A Cry For Help.

I have been frozen and wind whipped  into submission.  I no longer leave the house unless I must. I don't give a crap about what I look like or what I wear as long as I am warm, which Is never. The idea of going outside with a camera and taking my hands out of gloves to use the camera seems INSANE. I am half the woman I was in October.  I'm pretty much on strike until I actually feel warm, from the sun.  In my demented winter induced state I have engaged in some bizarre activities such as compulsive hard candy making ( I don't eat it, I just pile it up) and citrus charring (with a vague idea that maybe it would make a nice addition to a cocktail). All of that said, I was able to muster the focus to choose the MARCH Give-Away winner of the sweet little vintage milk glass vase.  Someday, far, far in the future Ann Marie will be able to pick spring flowers from this barren, frozen earth and put them in this vase.  That's what they tell me anyway.  Congratulations Ann Marie!

    1. I used the most simple hard candy recipe I could find. With a candy thermometer, it is easier to make than pie! http://allrecipes.com/recipe/hard-candy/
